Job Club up and running...

The Cass County Job Club is up and running.  20 people were in attendance at the Monday meeting.  The topics of discussion included:

1.  How to build your network of people and contact them.       

2.  Obtaining business cards with your personal information.

3.  The importance of joining "linkedin."

4.  How to ask for and conduct informational interviews with companies you  are  interested in learning more about. 

5.  The importance of identifying 10 target companies that you want to work for.

Each member in the group introduced themself and shared with the group what they were looking for in their next career opportunity.

The next meeting will be held on Monday, May 4 at 7 pm at St. Sabina Parish in Belton.

Teri Milbourne from the Cass County Library will present information on what resources the library can offer to those seeking employment.

The Cass County Job Club meetings provide support, education and encouragement to those seeking employment.  The public is welcome to attend.
